ITINERARY FROM THE OPPOSITION TO THE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC

* The stability, tranquility and peace in Senegal stem by in large

from the permanent choice that Maître Abdoulaye WADE has

made, in spite of this overwhelming popularity, to achieve

power through the electoral system and not through

confrontation.

* In 1974, at a time when all the frustrated parties in Africa went

to create Armed National Liberation Movements abroad, Maître

Abdoulaye WADE preferred to create legally a political party.

* Maître Abdoulaye WADE was elected President of the Republic

of Senegal on March 19, 2000.

Maître Abdoulaye WADE is also:
