ARTISTIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Performed in her father's opera company from the age of three through her teens. Her first singing role was in La Boheme at the age of three and a half.
Amongst numerous venues, in her early teens she also performed at the Rome Opera House, and at the same time worked closely with her father as his assistant director.
While attending the University of Rome she was cast as the lead in a TV film that was the springboard for her success as a motion picture actress. She has worked with many of the renowned European directors and producers such as Dario Argento, making her a cult favorite with a huge international fan following.
Despite her film success, her passion for music went a step further becoming a personal form of creative expression. Her debut album - Limbo Balloon - contains original, bilingual and eclectic works embodying an array of influences from classical to rock and roll.
As an artist, her paintings of mystical figures and forms convey yet another highly intimate aspect of this multi - talented artist. Her paintings are an autobiographical walk through her life, all Coralina, interspersed with magical characters which have touched her life and yet, are still all Coralina, just as in a dream. The preparation ritual before creating a work embodies many aspects, above all the meticulous selection of specific musical pieces. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOME RELEVANT LINKS: Secret Scroll Digest Interview: Coralina Cataldi Tassoni Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni interview with Vittorio Carli - Art ...
