Dr. Michio Kaku is a Professor of Theoretical Physics. His goal is to complete Einstein's dream of a "theory of everything", a single equation that unifies the 4 fundamental forces of the universe.
He has written 9 books. Hyperspace and Visions, his most recent, are international best sellers and have been translated into many languages.
He hosts Explorations, a weekly radio program on science, which is carried on many stations across the country.

Education
Dr. Michio Kaku graduated from Harvard in 1968, summa cum laude (highest honors), and number one in his physics class. He went on to the Berkeley Radiation Laboratory at the University of California in 1972, and in 1973 Dr. Kaku held a lectureship at Princeton University.
Academia
Today, Dr. Michio Kaku holds the Henry Semat Professorship in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York (CUNY), where he has taught for over 25 years.
He has also been a visiting professor at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, as well as New York University (NYU).
During the last part of his life and work, Albert Einstein was on a quest to find the "theory of everything", an equation perhaps only an inch long that would unify all four fundamental forces of the universe. Dr. Michio Kaku has continued this quest, and is the co-founder of string field theory, a leading candidate in the search for a "theory of everything".
Publications
Dr. Kaku is an internationally recognized authority in theoretical physics and the environment. His most popular and best selling books include "Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey Through Parallel Universes, Time Warps and the Tenth Dimension" and "Visions: How Science Will Revolutionize the 21st Century", which have been widely translated in different languages.

Over 70 articles have been published in physics journals by Dr. Michio Kaku. The topics are as varied as his expertise, of which include superstring theory, supergravity, supersymmetry, and hadronic physics. One of the first papers on conformal supergravity and the breakdown of supersymmetry at high temperatures, was also published by Dr. Kaku.
Radio Show
Every week, Dr. Kaku hosts an hour long program, "Explorations in Science", which covers topics in science, technology, war, and politics. Explorations can be heard on several radio stations throughout the United States, as well as on the web and on the KU national satellite band. Past shows are also available through the Pacifica Radio Archives.
Appearances
From interviews to documentaries, Dr. Michio Kaku has explained the most fascinating and complex ideas in science today, in ways so elegant and easy to understand, much like the late Carl Sagan.
His television appearances include the Larry King Show (radio as well as CNN-TV), Nightline, PBS's Nova and Innovation, 60 Minutes, Good Morning America and CNN-News. He was featured on the PBS documentaries: Einstein Revealed, Stephen Hawking's Universe, and Science Odyssey. Other networks include The Learning Channel's (TLC) Future Fantastic, as well as the BBC, TechTV, and the SciFi Channel. He also appeared on the Discovery Channel's Science of the Impossible.
In addition to his weekly radio program, Dr. Kaku has appeared on NPR's Science Friday, Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell as well as George Noory, and BBC-International. He has appeared on over 600 radio programs around the country.

He has been quoted in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, U.S. News and World Report, BBC, Sunday London Times, London Daily Telegraph, Boston Globe, Seattle Times, S.F.
