The INSISTENT NINJA IS: RICH SONG – DIRECTOR, EDITOR Rich Song has been involved in film and video work since 1992, when, at age 13, he shot and edited a series of skateboarding videos. His film education continued at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where he received numerous accolades for his student work. His film “The Glass Ceiling” was nominated for a Wasserman Award in The First Run Film Festival and was featured in New York Magazine. Graduating with honors, Rich has gone on to directing and editing work in shorts, experimental films, television, commercials, and feature films. Most recently, his short film “Ready or Not” placed third in Asian Cinevision’s 64 Hour Film Shootout. He was commissioned to create the opening sequence for the Imaginasian theater chain, worked on music programming with CKO and Big Daddy Kane, and has recently seen his latest music video as a director, “Wake Up,” featuring DJ Kai, screen internationally as an official selection at a number of festivals.
